Maine's barns and work sheds are direct records of how wood structures are put together — framing exposed, logic legible, nothing hidden. The Working Buildings Atlas documents them through a consistent set of architectural drawings designed for comparison and reuse. The Barn Frame Builder prototype below is a live model tool built from that research. Adjust the number of frames, bay length, width, eave height, and roof pitch and the bent geometry updates in real time.
